UX Researcher/Designer
Description
Using established research and statistical methods, the UX Researcher and Designer studies, analyzes, and recommends improvements of the user experiences involved in a range of Penn Libraries services, including library spaces, analog and digital business processes-- such as circulation and online access -- digital and print collections, and web interfaces. Collaborating with library service and subject experts, the UX Researcher and Designer identifies users’ expectations, work flows, research and learning behaviors, and other factors at the intersection of user experience and library functions. As a key member of the Impact and Assessment group, the UX Researcher and Designer fosters a culture of assessment and data-driven decision-making, advances best practices throughout the Libraries, and is a resource to staff and the Libraries’ partners-in-service across Penn.
