ASU Library is looking for a dedicated professional to join a team devoted to collaborative development of software to support the library's mission of creating, preserving, and making digital resources discoverable.
The Repository Developer (Digital Library Software Engineer) will imagine, create, and sustain infrastructure, applications, and services for ASU’s digital repository and online services. S/he will work alongside faculty, librarians, and IT colleagues across campus and within open-source communities on projects that advance research, teaching, and learning.
Essential Duties
Responsible for technical design, development and maintenance of ASU Library’s digital repository stack, including Fedora, Drupal, and Islandora components.
Configures, optimizes, and contributes to open-source repository and preservation software and engages in collaborative activities.
Reviews systems and software designs and prepares and conducts functional tests.
Executes procedures and standards for accessibility, quality assurance, and scalability.
Creates and maintains internal documentation.

Salary Range: $64,440 - $114,560 per year; DOE
