Electronic Resources Librarian
Description
University of North Texas Libraries (UNT) is hiring an Electronic Resources Librarian! The Electronic Resources Librarian (ERL) works to connect patrons with online research resources and will have the opportunity to manage both traditional and emerging electronic resources. The ERL creates and maintains documentation and uses the Sierra ILS and ERM to record metadata and order information. The ERL also designs outreach plans, recommends purchases and clearly explains decisions to stakeholders. The ERL serves as a member of the Collection Development steering team, and collaborates with other Collection Development personnel to carry out complex acquisitions. The ERL also engages in self-directed research and service activities. As a faculty member, this person will have time to engage in self-directed research and service activities. UNT Librarians take advantage of a wide range of professional development opportunities and a comprehensive mentoring program.
