Linked data visualization contract position
Description
The Harvard Library is engaged in a collaborative project with Cornell University and Stanford University to develop tools for creating, managing, and utilizing linked open data for libraries to improve discovery.
We have an opening for a four month developer/designer contractor to design user interfaces and build prototypes for visualizations of linked open data derived from the Harvard Film Archive and the Harvard Geospatial Library. Knowledge of linked data and javascript visualization tools and techniques will be important. Ability to deploy visualization tools by extending Spotlight or Blacklight would be a plus.
This position is funded through March 31, 2018.
