This is an important position at a very exciting time in the development of research data services at Berkeley. Out RDM Program <http://researchdata.berkeley.edu/> is a joint effort of the Library and Research IT. From the position announcement:

> UC Berkeley is looking for a service-oriented Research Data Management (RDM) Program Manager whose principal role will be to ensure the effective design and coordination of RDM issues and services. The RDM Program Manager will be the lead position responsible for administering the RDM program and services for the campus. S/he will be a campus resource on local, national and international RDM developments, overseeing the program and its services to academic departments and service units. The RDM Program Manager will work closely with and lead a multi-departmental team and will be responsible for providing leadership and collaborative coordination to ensure the success of this university-wide program.
