Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Details:   $50,000 plus/year, Exempt, Full-Time, Benefited

Position Summary:
-Provide leadership and coordination of the library's web site.
-Design, develop and maintain the library's web site in collaboration with other library departments.
-Monitor and evaluate the library web site, track usage, and implement changes as appropriate.
-Cooperate with other UND and Library departments to maintain essential library services and to build and maintain digital library collections.
-Develop and maintain applications and databases as required to support digital collections.
-Create and maintain work and procedure documentation.
-Provide reference service at the general reference desk during scheduled hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
-Instruct patrons in using electronic resources, such as ODIN and electronic indexes, as well as traditional library reference materials.
-Serve on library and University committees as needed
-Maintain awareness of new developments and participate in professional activities
-Participate in meetings, conferences, and workshops as appropriate.
-Answer questions received in person, by telephone, electronic or surface mail.
-Participate in professional activities, grant writing activities, and special projects.
-Maintain awareness of new developments and participate in professional activities.
-Contribute to the advancement of the professional and status of the University.
-Customer oriented service
-Detail oriented

Minimum Requirements:
-Graduate library degree from an American Library Association accredited program
-Web page design and management
-Provide 3 references
-Successful completion of a criminal history background check

Preferred Requirements:
-Relevant academic or research library experience
-Web page design and management
