Required:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, MIS, or related field. One year of relevant experience in library or information technology. Knowledge of Oracle or other relational database management system. Experience with HTML, XML, JavaScript or other website development languages.

Preferred:

Experience with large integrated computer system. Familiarity with Windows applications. Experience installing and configuring software on Windows or UNIX platform. Proficiency in at least one of the following: Perl,Java,

Visual Basic, UNIX shell scripting, SQL, C or other programming language. Good verbal, written communications, and organization skills. Libraries

competencies include: Continuous Improvement, Work Standards, Service

Orientation, Initiative/Judgment, Communication, Cross-Functional

Perspective, and Self-Development/Continuous Learning.

JOB DUTIES

Under the supervision of the Senior Administrator for Library Enterprise

Applications, assists in maintaining the Libraries integrated systems in

operational condition, provides integrated libraries systems expertise and special services to Libraries staff, and customizes and extends integrated Libraries systems functionality.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible For Overtime)

Retirement Eligibility: TIAA/CREF Contribution Waiting Period.
