Community College of Philadelphia is the largest public institution of higher education in the City. Local businesses look to us to provide workplace training to keep their workers skilled and their companies competitive. Community College of Philadelphia seeks to hire a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track Systems Librarian, beginning Fall 2016, to provide public service activities in a culturally diverse community college library. The Systems Librarian is responsible for the overall management and support of the ILS (Innovative Interfaces Millennium). This person will also assist in the development and support of library technology tools. Job Requirements ALA-accredited MLS with three (3) years of experience in library systems administration. Qualified applicants will have experience in library instruction, with an articulated philosophy of teaching, reference services and faculty outreach. Applicants should exhibit a strong public service orientation and demonstrated experience working with technologies relevant to an online learning environment.
