Digitisation Assistant, SOAS Digital Library

Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled person to join the SOAS Digital Library team as a Digitisation Assistant. You will have experience using scanning equipment and either analogue or digital cameras, working fragile objects and artefacts, to produce digital surrogates for presentation on the SOAS Digital Library (http://digital.soas.ac.uk/).

Understanding of metadata encoding and file formats is an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work independently to demanding productivity targets is essential. You will also be well-organised.

Salary: £20,711 to £22,878 pro rata p.a. inclusive of London Allowance
