Reporting to the Head of Electronic Resources & Services, Web Application Librarian is responsible for supporting the delivery and discovery of library collections by designing, developing, managing, configuring, and supporting the Libraries’ websites, digital collections, discovery systems, and other digital initiatives. The individual will provide technical and operational support for web services in the CUA Libraries, as well as participate in training and support of staff and users.

Minimum Qualifications: MLS or MSIS degree from American Library Association-accredited or recognized equivalent. Experience developing applications for libraries using HTML/CSS/MySQL/JQUERY/JavaScript/PHP; knowledge and experience in using code repositories, workflows, and tools (e.g. github or git); knowledge of proxy and authentication services; skills and experience in graphic design for the web; experience with Google Analytics; familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
