Princeton Theological Seminary invites applications for the position of Director of Academic Technology and Digital Scholarship Services. Reporting to the James Lenox Librarian, the Director of Academic Technology and Digital Scholarship Services will provide vision, leadership, planning and strategic direction for academic technology and digital scholarship services.Responsibilities include: leading and managing the Office of Academic Technology and Digital Scholarship Services; leading academic technology and digital scholarship plan development, execution and evaluation; directing and shaping library planning on new technology initiatives including, but not limited to, institutional repository development, library publishing services, electronic records management; providing technical support and training covering a range of academic technologies; and participating in library efforts directed at copyright management. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Library or Information Science, Computer Science, Technology or related field; experience in providing academic technology or digital scholarship services in a higher education context; experience resulting in knowledge of institutional repositories and academic publishing; knowledge of trends and best practices in utilizing technology in support of teaching, learning, research and scholarship; and familiarity with directions in digital humanities.
