Job Type: Intern Salary: Unpaid. (A limited number of stipends are available to students from communities of color who are underrepresented in the Society).
Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week
The Intern will assist on different types of digital projects in order to help the Reference staff provide better reference services and outreach to MHS Library’s users.
Ideal Degrees: Library/information science, history, public history, computer science, media studies or communications.
Student Qualifications: Graduate and undergraduate students with an interest in the use of technology in library and museum work will be considered. Must have experience with digital audio/visual creation and editing using tools like Adobe Premier, Final Cut, and iMovie. Must have at least basic experience with website creation and/or editing. Experience with Drupal is a plus. An interest in the Library’s mission and a willingness to learn more about it are necessary.
