 The National Network of Libraries of Medicine MidContinental Region (NN/LM MCR) is seeking a coordinator for the state of Kansas to provide outreach and training to medical librarians, healthcare professionals and the public. Additionally, this position serves as a co-coordinator of technology in collaboration with the Technology Coordinator at the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library, University of Utah.  As a co-coordinator of technology for the NN/LM MCR, the successful candidate is responsible for promoting and supporting the use of technology throughout the region.  Finding, testing and using emerging technologies and encouraging their adoption by NN/LM members is a key component of this position. This position requires travel.

The Kansas Technology Coordinator will be located at the A.R. Dykes Library of the Health Sciences on the University of Kansas Medical Center  campus in Kansas City, Kansas. The Kansas City metropolitan area offers a mix of amenities and neighborhoods.  The Kansas coordinator will travel this big, wide-open state. It is our desire to attract someone who is resourceful, energetic and innovative who will be enthusiastic about serving and living in the mid-continental Kansas region. Therefore, a flexible option offers the selected candidate to live and work anywhere within Kansas provided agreed upon arrangements for telecommuting and regularly scheduled  KUMC office hours are met.
