Interested in conducting systems analysis of web-based, digital services to improve access to the Montana State Library’s core collections of state publications, natural resource information, and professional library development material to meet the information needs of state agencies, Montana librarians and residents? MSL seeks someone to collaborate with other library staff to improve current technologies that deliver library content to discovery and delivery mechanisms, This person is also responsible for cataloging, metadata, authority control, quality control, knowledge of changing metadata standards, knowledge of automatic indexing and metadata processes, and other duties associated with the creation and maintenance of data related to MSL materials. Applications must be received by December 7, 2014 to be considered for the first round of screenings. If a suitable candidate is found in that screening, no further consideration will be made of applications received after that date.
