Head of Educational Technology and Resources Collection, University LibrariesProfessional position available immediately.
Responsibilities: manage, develop, assess, and promote the collections, educational technology resources, programs, services, and operations of the Educational Technology and Resources Collection area of University Libraries.
Minimum qualifications: MLS/MLIS, MIS degree from an ALA-accredited program at time of appointment or MA in curriculum and educational technology or MS in education learning design and technology or equivalent; two or more years of experience in an educational technology environment; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications; knowledge of media resources, equipment, youth literature, educational curriculum materials, and emerging information technologies; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
Preferred qualifications: additional advanced degree in a library or educational field; media and K-12 educational collection development, circulation, and reference experience; supervisory experience.
Salary up to $60,000 plus excellent benefits.
