Description

Imperial College London is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced individual to support our key library information systems and assist in developing new systems and services to meet the changing needs of our users for learning, teaching, and research.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Systems and Innovation Support Services (SISS) at our South Kensington campus, you will work with colleagues in Library Services and in liaison with College ICT and systems suppliers to support current systems, and on projects to implement new systems and evaluate them. You will provide specialist knowledge and expertise to colleagues including analytical and statistical insights to help inform evidence-based decision making, and in evaluating and developing services will have a focus on user experience and usability best practices.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a user-focused approach to technical support, combining technical skills with the confidence and ability to engage staff with new ideas. You will use your awareness of technology and knowledge of higher education to identify opportunities for innovation, and combine this with a strong commitment to continuing professional development to keep your skills up to date.

Interviews will be held on 12 December 2014.
