GRADE H, $49,513.26-$67,840.31

Salary Commensurate with qualifications and experience

1). Adheres to Library attendance and work schedule policies.

2). Complies with all Library work rules, procedures, and policies.

3). Maintains a safe work environment.

4). Provides technical support to Library staff and CLEVNET staff using integrated library management software.

5). Identifies and resolves problems with integrated library management software, working with the provider of the software when necessary.

6). Develops scripts and produces reports to support library operations including reporting on bibliographic, patron and transaction data.

7). Assists in planning, configuring, and executing upgrades of integrated library management software.

8). Tests new applications of integrated library management software.

9). Recommends changes to integrated library management software, policies, files, and practices

10). May assist library staff in performing computer functions.

11). May assist public service staff to address patron computer needs related to Library operations software.

12). Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited college or university.

13). Three years library experience.

14). Two years experience with library management software and information technology.

15). Basic knowledge of scripting languages and UNIX preferred.

16). Demonstrated ability in developing & maintaining Perl scripts preferred.

17). Ability to work with relational databases preferred

18). Experience with APIs preferred
