Job description
- Envision and lead the implementation and development of new digital services, and manage a range of new digital technology initiatives and services for legal researchers
- Lead, inspire and stimulate a team of 10+ staff
- Oversee the collection development of paper-based and born-digital resources, both those in public domain and those commercially produced and licensed
- Supervise licensing and access management of digital sources (with attention to the developments in the field of copyright law)
- Establish partnerships with other legal libraries (universities and corporate) and ascertain that the IBFD library becomes a dynamic participant in interlibrary communication and activities.
- Masters Degree in librarianship/media- and/or information management or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 3 years management experience
- Successful track record in change management
- Track record of delivering projects on implementation of digital services
- Clear vision on digital information services
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Proven visionary and strategic skills
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Good networking skills
- We offer a full-time position (37 hrs) with a gross monthly salary, depending on background and relevant work experience, between EUR 4,342 and EUR 7,068
