Job Summary/Basic Function Librarian to serve computation-focused academic disciplines in the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering and Computing, and the Farmer School of Business; including Mathematics, Statistics (both CAS), Computer Science and Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering (both CEC), and Information Systems and Analytics (FSB). The librarian will be charged with primary responsibility for reference, instruction, and collection services for these disciplines.

The librarian will provide service from a base of operations in the Business, Engineering, Science and Technology (B.E.S.T.) Library. The position will also play a strong role in development and delivery of public services technologies for the Libraries, e.g. in desktop and mobile computing; multimedia software; 3-D modeling, scanning, and printing; or development of web-based products.

This position requires a self-motivated, creative, client-centered librarian who is committed to providing excellent customer service and is knowledgeable about information technology, emerging trends in libraries, and scholarly communication.
