Tenure-track faculty position with appointment at   Assistant/Associate Professor dependent upon qualifications.   Twelve month appointment, full time. Under general direction of the Dean of Libraries, the Digital Scholarship Librarian will be responsible for advancing and supporting development of the Digital Scholarship Laboratory which includes an Institutional Repository, digital collections and educational services in support of digital scholarship.  The Digital Scholarship Librarian will work in a highly collaborative environment leading cross-departmental teams within the Walker Library and with the members of three archival centers on campus that form the Digital Partnership.  The Partnership engages graduate students and faculty in developing individual research projects using digital objects and software.   The position assists in grant writing for future projects and serves as a project manager for ongoing digitization projects. Required:  ALA-accredited master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of three years’ experience in the development of digital collections or institutional repositories.
