Description

Seeking an experienced college student for a paid internship position in Corporate Design Studio. The objective of the position is to create a digital library of Hasbro’s historical assets, including their vintage art collection, newsletters, news coverage, video, photography and three-dimensional products. Specific job tasks and objectives include:
  • Researching & strategizing an integrated digital archiving system for all of Hasbro’s historical assets including print, art, video, photography, and products
  • Working closely with the Corporate Design Studio team members as well as Hasbro’s Digital Asset Team in creating a workable system that can eventually be accessed by Hasbro’s employees
  • Initiating the archiving system, providing educational tutorials to automate the process moving forward

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with the following:
  • Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a degree program
  • Preferred areas of study include: Library & Information Science or similar. Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Fine Art, Library Science, Video Production, Information Technology, Software Engineering will also be considered.
  • Prior experience creating/ working with complex organizational systems. Library digital archiving experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of digital archiving systems, Adobe Photoshop, & Microsoft Word
  • Studying to receive a degree in archiving/ library studies is strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of video recording equipment is preferred, as well as prior experience handling VHS/ Beta types of video and converting them to digital
