The Teen Services and Digital Creativity Manager will provide library-wide leadership for the Library’s comprehensive new Teen Services and Digital Creativity department.

The successful candidate has the ability to inspire imaginations and create a gathering place for teens to explore, question, and express themselves in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.  Desired personal attributes include a sense of humor, a passion for engaging teens, and a positive and enthusiastic approach to nurturing and enhancing digital skills in others.

Opportunities include working with the library’s leadership to design and furnish a new teen space and adjacent digital creativity center open to all ages, planning and implementing services and programs for both, fostering strong connections with teens in the community, attracting and selecting a vibrant and engaged staff and introducing the teen space and digital creativity center to the public.

The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree in computer and/or instructional technology, education, arts education, library science, or a related discipline preferred, and three years of professional leadership and/or supervisory experience required.
